November Update

On November 28, Melody went in for her second ultrasound. This was done to checkup on how baby and mom are doing. The doctor said everything was going as planned with baby. Click on the image for more pictures.

Please continue to pray for Melody for the medication to work. We will be going to Denver on December 18 to see the kidney doctors.

Melody's Pregnancy

This coming March 2008 Aaron and Melody will become parents. On Oct 16 they went for an ultrasound. Posted here are the pictures of their new child. They desire to not know the gender of their baby until he/she is born. For more pictures click here.

Also on that day, routine tests showed the possible signs of preeclampsia. This meant Melody was to check into the hospital. Soon after a second round of tests, she was transfered to University of Colorado Hospital in Denver for treatment. There were conflicting signs as to weither she had preeclampsia or a preexisting kidney disease. After seven days in the hospital the doctors diagnoised her with one of two preexisting kidney diseases. The most probable is called Minimal Change Disease, the other is FSGS. They are both treatable with the same medication. Melody has begun to take it. Our prayer is that by our next doctors visit the medication is working.

Baby is doing fine and will continue to develop normally for the rest of the pregnancy.
